Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (President CEO: Toshihiko Hamada) is pleased to announce that Oximesa, a Spanish subsidiary of our European business Nippon Gases*, (headquarters: Madrid, Spain), has obtained approval by Spain's National Commission on Markets and Competition (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y de la Competencia) on an agreement with Corporación Químico-Farmacéutica Esteve (CQFE) and Teijin Holdings Europe BV (Teijin) regarding the acquisition of Esteve Teijin Healthcare (ETH). The closing of the transaction is planned on Mar. 3, 2026.

Background and purpose of the acquisition
ETH is a joint venture established in 2009 by CQFE and Teijin, which operates respiratory home therapy services in Spain. Oximesa provides respiratory home therapy services in Spain. This alliance will allow both companies to combine their extensive experience and knowledge to provide even more effective, closer, and more humanized home care.
